(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] The present invention relates to a method for producing a heat-resistant acrylic resin having excellent practical heat resistance and a small yellowish color. [Structure] 97.5 to 70 parts by weight of methyl methacrylate in the presence of an alcohol of the general formula R—CH 2 OH (R is a phenyl group and may have a substituent) and a radical polymerization initiator. , A mixture of 2.5 to 30 parts by weight of N-substituted maleimide and 0 to 30 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound are polymerized to produce a heat resistant acrylic resin. The obtained resin is colorless and transparent and has excellent weather resistance, It has a relatively balanced performance in mechanical properties, thermal properties and moldability. |
