Represents an achiral alkyl group of the number 1 to 4, R 4 represents an achiral alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, which is different from R 6, and is a method for producing an optical antipode of a chiral 1,4-dihydropyridinedicarboxylic acid ester represented by [Effect] The above compound is useful as a drug for circulatory organs.
