(57) [Summary] [Purpose] Inhibits the production of antibodies to antigens and transplanted tissues without long-term continuous administration, and induces immune tolerance of the organism to antigens and transplanted tissues. [Structure] Cysteine protease, which is a secretory protein that accumulates in the tissues of parasitic helminths, is extracted and purified. When this cysteine protease is administered to a living body and a few days later, a tissue of another individual is transplanted, the immune reaction of the living body to the transplanted tissue is suppressed even one year later. |
