According to the present invention, a plurality of layers are formed on a non-magnetic support, the thickness of the uppermost magnetic layer is 0.8 μm or less, and at least one of these layers is amine-modified as a binder. A magnetic recording medium comprising a vinyl chloride copolymer and a polyurethane having a negative functional group, wherein at least one layer other than the uppermost layer is a layer containing a non-magnetic powder or a high magnetic permeability material. |
