abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A polyarylamine polymer represented by the following formula (I) and having a weight average molecular weight of about 10,000 to about 1,000,000, or a charge generation layer and hole transporting: An electrophotographic imaging member comprising a layer, wherein at least the charge generation layer or the charge transport layer comprises the polyarylamine polymer. [Chemical 1] In the above formula, n is about 5 to about 5,000 and p is about 5 About 5,000, X ′ and X ″ are independently selected from groups having a bifunctional bond, and Q is a divalent group derived from some hydroxy-terminated arylamine reactants. The imaging members of this invention exhibit good photoconductivity and are stable after 10,000 cycles of essentially continuous operation.
