titleOfInvention Method for producing vinyl chloride polymer
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] A large-scale polymerization vessel is provided by suppressing the scale adhesion to the inner wall surface of the polymerization vessel, the coarsening of polymer particles and the increase of fish eyes, and shortening the charging time and temperature rising time during polymerization. Polymerize in a short time to produce a high-quality and high-quality vinyl chloride polymer. [Structure] During suspension polymerization of a vinyl chloride monomer in an aqueous medium in the presence of an oil-soluble polymerization initiator, 70% by weight or more of each of the monomer and warm water is simultaneously charged into the polymerization vessel and the suspension is carried out. As the agent, three kinds of partially saponified polyvinyl acetate having specific properties are used in a specific ratio so as to have a specific charge amount, and at least 20% of the total charge amount of the suspension agent during the charge of the monomer. The amount of the monomer charged is 30% of the total amount charged. % Until the amount reaches 100% and when the weight ratio of the monomer in the polymerization vessel to water is 1.5 or less, the whole amount of the polymerization initiator is charged, and the polymerization is continuously performed. The polymerization is completed within the time.
