Method for monitoring and controlling the reaction process of alkanolamines |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Objective] To monitor and control the reactivation of alkanolamine solutions. [Configuration] To monitor and control the reactivation of the alkanolamine solution by the following method. (A) Contacting the alkanolamine solution with a first strongly basic anion exchange resin. (B) Contacting the effluent from the exchanger with a second strongly basic anion exchange resin. (C) Measure the conductivity of the effluent from the first anion exchange resin. (D) When the strongly acidic anion leaks into the effluent from the resin, the first exchange resin is removed from the system. (E) Measure the conductivity of the effluent from the second exchange resin. (F) When the weakly acidic anions leak into the effluent from the resin, the second exchange resin is removed from the system. (G) Regenerate the first and second exchange resins. |
