abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Purpose] An object of the present invention is to provide a method suitable for a relatively small-sized facility and improving the Langerian index at a pH value within the range of the Water Supply Act to prevent the generation of red water. [Structure] 1 of calcium carbonate or calcium hydroxide -50% by weight slurry is mixed with water containing free carbonic acid under pressure and then reacted to form an aqueous solution of calcium hydrogen carbonate. A water supply that improves the Langerian index by injecting this aqueous solution into the tap water in an amount such that the calcium hardness of the tap water is 50 ppm or more, and an amount of the calcium hydroxide aqueous solution in which the pH of the tap water is 8.0 to 8.5.
