Surface treatment agent for paper and surface treatment method for paper |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Structure] Cationic properties obtained by copolymerizing (A) a vinyl monomer component and (B) an unsaturated carboxylic acid or (C) a cationic polymer after the copolymerization. A surface treatment agent for paper containing an aqueous emulsion. The surface treatment of paper or paper board is performed with this surface treatment agent for paper. [Effect] The surface strength of paper or paperboard is improved. Also, It has low viscosity, can be used as it is, and has improved compatibility with sizing agents such as oxidized starch. |
