abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To obtain a heat-sensitive recording material which is excellent in thermal stability on a white background and has a high color development rate upon heating. [Structure] Usually, a thermal recording material using a colorless or light-colored dye precursor contains a compound represented by Chemical formula 1. [Chemical 1] R 1 and R 2 are a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, R represents an alkoxy group or an aryloxy group, and R 3 represents an alkyl group which may have a substituent, a cycloalkyl group, or an aryl group which may have a substituent. A typical example is 2-benzoyloxybenzamide. |
