abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] Optically active 2-aminonitrile, Actinomadura genus, Arthrobacter genus ( Ar throbacter ), Pseudomonas ( Pseudomonas) , Rhodococcus ( Rhodococcus) , Candida ( Candida) Alternatively, a method for producing racemic 2-aminonitrile, which comprises racemizing an optically active 2-aminonitrile by allowing a microorganism belonging to the genus Yarrowia or a treated product thereof to act thereon and collecting the racemic 2-aminonitrile. [Effect] Since a microorganism is used, racemization can be carried out in an aqueous medium under mild conditions, and the production of reaction by-products can be suppressed. The obtained racemate has high purity and is useful as a raw material for producing an optically active amino acid with high optical purity.
