Isolated Agrobacterium rhizogenes MAFF03 -A plasmid prepared by incorporating a vector containing a kanamycin resistance gene into the Ri plasmid of strain -1724. [Effect] It is useful as a means for imparting hairy root induction to a plant and a means for improving the hairy root induction frequency of a plant, while improving the accuracy of selecting a target bacterium using kanamycin as a selection marker.
