abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a method for producing optically active 3-hydroxypyrrolidine which is industrially practical. [Structure] (RS) -3-hydroxypyrrolidine is represented by the following general formula (I): (In the formula, R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group) and optically resolved by using sulfamide of optically active phenylglyidine as a resolving agent. [Effects] Optically active 3-hydroxypyrrolidine of high yield and high purity can be obtained by using a chemically stable and industrially resolvable resolving agent. |
