abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] A multi-layer analytical element in which at least one hydrophilic polymer layer and a developing layer are laminated in this order on a water-impermeable support, and a blood cell separating element having a blood cell separating layer form a space. A whole blood sample is spotted on the blood cell separation element in a state of being placed and stacked, and after the sample is spread in the blood cell separation layer, the sample spotting part is pressed to transfer the plasma part in the sample to the spreading layer. A method for measuring a blood component by removing a blood cell separation element and measuring a test substance transferred to a multilayer analysis element. [Effect] By using the whole blood analysis element, the plasma part in the whole blood sample is almost evenly permeated into the development layer of the multi-layer analysis element. It can be diffused and analytical errors due to non-uniform diffusion of the sample can be eliminated. After transferring the plasma part to the development layer, By drying, the analysis can be accurately performed even after a considerable time has passed, and the subject can be easily and accurately tested at home. |
