abstract | (57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide a silicon slip casting composition and a method for producing the same. The composition comprises 25 to 50% by weight of water and a powder solid component essentially containing silicon and an inorganic sintering aid, and an aqueous phase of 8 to A silicon slip casting composition having a pH in the range of 9.5 is described. Solid component is 65 to 88% by weight of silicon, Y 2 O 3 5 to 24 wt%, including SiO 2 1 to 5 wt% on Al 2 O 3 2 to 9.6 wt% and silicon surfaces. The average particle size of the solid component is 20 μm or less, especially 5 μm or less. The invention also relates to a method of making a slip casting composition. |
