| abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To improve the yield of a thermal printer capable of printing even on a recording medium in which a position of a heating resistor is projected and cannot be curved. By forming a projecting flat surface 21 on the surface of the head substrate 20 and forming a flat glaze layer 30 on the flat surface 21, the position of the heating resistor 25 formed on the glaze layer 30 is manufactured.
