abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To improve the yield of a thermal printer capable of printing even on a recording medium in which a position of a heating resistor is projected and cannot be curved. By forming a projecting flat surface 21 on the surface of the head substrate 20 and forming a flat glaze layer 30 on the flat surface 21, the position of the heating resistor 25 formed on the glaze layer 30 is manufactured. Even if it fluctuates due to an error, the adhesion with the recording medium 14 becomes good.
