abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] A dialkyl dichloromaleate is reacted with a dialkylamine to form an enamine intermediate, and the intermediate is reacted with an appropriately substituted α, β-unsaturated aldehyde or ketone and an ammonia source. Thereby providing a method for producing a substituted and unsubstituted-2,3-pyridinedicarboxylate compound. [Effect] 2,3-pyridinedicarboxylate, which is a useful intermediate for herbicides, can be easily produced. |
