abstract (57) [Summary] (Correction) [Constitution] In the nitrone of the general formula 1, for example, the formula 1-1, A method for producing an optically active hydroxylamine of general formula 2, for example, formula 2-1 characterized by reacting hydrosilanes with a complex of a metal belonging to Group VIII of the periodic table having an asymmetric ligand as a catalyst. [Effect] According to the method of the present invention, an optically active hydroxylamine can be easily obtained in a high yield, and the optically active hydroxylamine obtained by the method of the present invention can be obtained by a known method. Since it can be easily converted into a primary amine and a pharmaceutical synthetic intermediate such as an alkaloid can be obtained, it is of great benefit to industrial benefits.
