abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a dialkylnaphthalene from an alkenylbenzene derivative as a raw material. An alkenyl catalyst is a mixture of alumina carrying at least one metal selected from Group 8 metals and silica-alumina carrying at least one metal selected from Group 1A metals. A benzene derivative is subjected to a one-step reaction cyclization and dehydrogenation to produce a dialkylnaphthalene. |
