abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] The amide bond-containing polymer is dispersed in a gel-like material composed of a metal oxide by hydrolyzing a hydrolytic polymerizable metal compound in an alkaline medium in the presence of the amide bond-containing polymer. The obtained composite fine particles are obtained. According to this method for producing spherical fine particles, spherical fine particles having a uniform composition and capable of improving physicochemical properties as desired can be obtained. [Structure] In the presence of an amide bond-containing polymer, a hydrolysis-polymerizable metal compound is hydrolyzed in an alkaline medium, The composite fine particles in which the polymer is dispersed in the gel-like material made of the produced metal oxide are obtained.
