(57) [Summary] [Structure] A novel peptide consisting of a specific amino acid sequence Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is detected using proleukosidine or leucocidin, and DNAs encoding them having a specific nucleotide sequence, and further antibodies against proleucosidine or leucocidin. [Effects] Leucocidin specifically produced by MRSA, We elucidated the whole structures of proleukosidine and priproleucocidin and used them to prepare anti-MRSA antibodies. It can be used for immunological diagnosis of RSA. |
