Cellulose fiber having shrink resistance and method for producing the same |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Object] An object of the present invention is to provide a cellulose fiber having excellent durability and shrink resistance. [Structure] The cellulose fiber of the present invention is obtained by heat-treating an ester having at least two carboxyl groups of a polycarboxylic acid and an aliphatic or alicyclic polyol and a cellulose fiber, and subjecting the carboxyl group in the ester to the cellulose fiber. An esterification reaction is carried out with the hydroxyl group therein, and the above ester is bonded to the cellulose fiber by an ester bond. |
