titleOfInvention Formulation containing polycarbophil calcium
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A preparation containing polycarbophil calcium, wherein, for example, a cellulose derivative such as carboxymethylcellulose or low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose is contained at a ratio of 1 to 80% by weight with respect to polycarbophil calcium. A formulation that can be disintegrated under acidic conditions. Examples of the form of the preparation include tablets, capsules, granules and the like. [Effect] Easily disintegrates in the acidic stomach, polycarbophil is uniformly dispersed in the digestive tract, and a reliable drug effect can be expected. Further, since it does not have an unpleasant taste and texture, it is useful for treating irritable bowel syndrome and constipation and diarrhea caused by dysfunction of the lower digestive tract.
