abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a flame-retardant composite material having a novel structure, which is particularly suitable as a building material for exterior. [Constitution] The metal sheet (1 4) and (14 ') are joined together, and the above core sheet (13) contains an inorganic filler in an amount of 20 to 80% by weight and a foaming ratio of 1.1 to 3.0. A flame-retardant composite material comprising a layer or the foamed resin layer and non-foamed resin layers laminated on both sides thereof, and the heat of combustion of the core sheet (13) is 6000 BTU / ft 2 or less.
