titleOfInvention Electrodialysis machine
abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] An object of the present invention is to provide an electrodialysis device capable of coping with fluctuations in the pH of raw water without generating chlorine gas or hydrogen gas, without consumption of acid. [Structure] A cation exchange membrane K and an anion exchange membrane A are alternately arranged, and an anode chamber 3 and a cathode chamber 4 are provided at both ends thereof. The anode chamber 3, the cathode chamber 4, and the polar liquid tank 16 constitute one independent flow path. As the solvent supplied to this channel, a buffer solution composed of a mixed solution of an acid and a salt of the acid or a mixed solution of a base and a salt of the base is used. As a solute to be added to this solvent, a metal capable of reversibly carrying out a redox reaction or a chelate compound with these metals is used.
