abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a method for preparing a rough skin model for evaluating the rough skin prevention and improvement effects of a cosmetic or a skin external preparation. [Composition] Per square centimeter on mammalian skin A rough skin model is created by irradiating 0.03 to 1 Joule of ultraviolet rays (280 to 315 nm region). The rough skin model produced undergoes an incubation period of about 3 days and develops substantially stable rough skin, which lasts for at least 3 days. |
