(57) [Summary] [Object] An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a toner having good dispersibility of a colorant and having stable image characteristics. In a method for producing a toner by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer mixture liquid containing at least a colorant such as carbon black, a compound having a polymerizable functional group and a colorant affinity functional group is provided. By dispersing the colorant in the polymerizable monomer in the presence thereof and then polymerizing it, a toner in which the colorant is well dispersed in the toner particles can be obtained. This toner has stable image characteristics. |
