[Structure] 2-m-toluidino-3-methyl-6-di-n The present invention relates to a crystal modification of butylaminofluorane, a crystalline toluene adduct, a method for producing the same, and a recording material using these as an electron-donating color former. [Effect] 2-m-toluidino-3-methyl-6 of the present invention -The crystal modification of di-n-butylaminofluorane and the crystalline toluene adduct have excellent solubility in the solvent for capsules, and the recording material using this has a background whiteness, background storage stability, coloring color tone, and color development. Particularly excellent in various characteristics such as sensitivity and image storage stability.
