titleOfInvention Fine powder red phosphorus and method for producing the same
abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide an improved method for producing powdered red phosphorus. [Composition] In the method for producing red phosphorus by thermal conversion of yellow phosphorus, the thermal conversion reaction is carried out in the presence of a dispersant (surfactant, sparingly soluble finely powdered inorganic compound, inorganic ammonium salt, organic compound having an amino group). To do. [Effect] Stable fine powdery red phosphorus having an average particle diameter of several μm to several tens of μm and in which decomposition and alteration due to disproportionation reaction hardly occur can be efficiently produced. Further, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide powdery red phosphorus which is excellent as a flame retardant for high-performance resins.
