titleOfInvention Air purifier
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] A water storage cleaning type air cleaning device that allows air containing fine dust to pass through the water for dust collection previously placed in a water pan and is provided near the intake port. The present invention relates to a charging unit for charging fine dust in the air by corona discharge, and a dust catching net disposed below the surface of the dust catching water and having a polarity opposite to that of the charged dust. As compared with the case where a mesh-shaped one is used, the dust-collecting efficiency is higher and the entanglement of the fibrous dust in the air with the dust-collecting net is reduced. [Structure] As the dust catching net, a dust catching net 20 made of a metal plate having a plurality of openings 22 formed by cut-and-raised parts 21 is used. The contact area of the air bubbles containing the charged fine dust when passing through the dust catching net is expanded, and the air bubbles behave in accordance with the cut and raised shape, so that the dust catching efficiency is increased. Since there is no crossed gap like the mesh-shaped dust catching net, the self-cleaning action is efficient.
