(57) [Summary] [Structure] 4-hydroxyquinazolines are prepared in the presence of a phosphoryl halide, a thionyl halide or a carbonyl halide and a catalytically effective amount of an N, N-dialkylformamide and a catalytically effective amount of a soluble organic compound. A process for producing 4-haloquinazolines, which comprises contacting in the presence of a halide salt. [Effect] The halogenation of 4-hydroxyquinazolines can be accelerated. |
