abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a thermosensitive recording medium in which the storage stability of a recorded image, particularly the plasticizer resistance and the oil resistance, are remarkably improved, and moreover, the yellowing of the background portion is extremely small when exposed to light. [Structure] A thermosensitive recording medium utilizing a color reaction of a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a color-forming agent on a support, wherein a novolac type epoxy resin and a benzene ring are used as cores in the recording layer. The glycidyl ether or glycidyl ester compound, the glycidyl ether or glycidyl ester compound having diphenyl sulfone as a nucleus, and at least one selected from the bisphenol A type epoxy resins, and the protective layer substantially contains an ultraviolet absorber. A heat-sensitive recording material containing microcapsules having no coloring ability. |
