abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Objective] To provide an angiotensin II antagonistic N-substituted heterocyclic derivative. [Structure] A compound represented by the formula (I), a salt thereof, a process for producing them, an intermediate compound used therein, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound of the formula (I) as an active ingredient. [Wherein R 1 and R 2 are H, C 1-6 alkyl, C 1-4 Alkoxy, carboxyl, tetrazoyl, imidazol-1-yl-carbonyl and the like; R 3 is H, C 1-6 (halo) alkyl, C 3-7 cycloalkyl, phenyl and the like; R 4 is C 1-6 (halo) alkyl; R 5 is C 3-7 (halo) cycloalkyl, C 3-7 (halo) cycloalkyl-methyl; X is O or S; z and t are 0, or One is 0 and the other is 1, or R 4 and R 5 are both cyclopropyl] [Effect] The above compound is used for treating various cardiovascular disorders, particularly hypertension and heart diseases, as well as glaucoma and diabetic retina. It can be used to treat illness and renal failure.
