abstract (57) [Abstract] [Object] The present invention provides a small-sized, large-capacity capacitor having excellent frequency characteristics, in which a conductive polymer film is used for at least one of electrodes facing each other with a dielectric film interposed therebetween. The present invention relates to a manufacturing method, and an object thereof is to realize a capacitor having a low short circuit defect rate and suitable for mass production. [Structure] A dielectric film and a manganese oxide layer are sequentially provided on an electrode provided with at least one or more protrusions in a plane direction, and then provided in contact with an electrode portion from which the dielectric film is removed at the protrusion of the electrode. Electrolytic polymerization is performed by using the conductive part as a polymerization initiation part, and an electrolytically polymerized conductive polymer film is laminated on the manganese oxide layer, and then the protruding part including at least the conductive part that became the polymerization initiation part is removed.
