abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] General formula (1) R 1- (A 1 ) m -Y 1 -A 2 -ZA 3 -Y 2- (A 4 ) n -R 2 A 1 to A 4 are transformers. -1,4-di-substituted cyclohexylene group, 1, A fluoroalkane derivative compound in which Z 4 is an alkylene group having 4 carbon atoms and represents a perhalogenoalkylene group having at least one fluorine atom, such as a 4-disubstituted phenylene group. [Effect] Since this compound has low viscosity and is stable to light, a high-speed response can be expected by using it in a liquid crystal composition.
