titleOfInvention | Method for producing suspension pressure-sensitive adhesive beads having specific structure |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Objective] To provide a method for producing suspension pressure-sensitive adhesive beads having improved shear strength and peel adhesion. [Composition] Water, a water-soluble monomer, a surfactant and a water-soluble initiator are mixed at room temperature with gentle stirring to prepare an aqueous phase I. This Phase I is then phase II of a monomer mixture containing an acrylic ester, a chain transfer agent, a free radical initiator, a surfactant and a polar copolymerizable monomer. And the two phases are vigorously stirred and mixed homogeneously to form a water-in-oil emulsion. This water-in-oil emulsion is then combined with water phase III containing water, suspending agent, polar monomer and surfactant to form a water-in-oil emulsion in aqueous suspension. Stir to. This is stirred for about 2 to about 16 hours at a temperature of about 40 to 90 ° C. to obtain an aqueous suspension of copolymer beads. |
