abstract | (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide an improved apparatus and method for continuously producing an isocyanate compound by thermally decomposing a carbamic acid ester compound at the boiling point of an inert solvent. In the manufacturing apparatus, apart from the means 1 to 3, 9 and 10 for supplying an inert solvent to the tower reactor 4, vapor of the inert solvent is supplied to a lower region of the tower reactor 4. Supplying means 20 to 24 are provided. In the manufacturing method, in addition to supplying the inert solvent to the tower reactor and returning from the distiller, the vapor of the inert solvent is supplied to the lower region of the reactor. [Effect] The reverse reaction and side reaction are suppressed, and the adhesion of the polymeric substance to the filler at the bottom of the reaction tower can be prevented. |
