abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] In a liquid detergent composition containing a surfactant as a main component, at least one short-chain carboxylate selected from formate and lactate, and a bleach-resistant protein. A liquid detergent composition comprising a hydrolase and a sequestering agent, which is substantially free of free calcium ions. [Effects] According to the present invention, in a liquid detergent composition containing a surfactant as a main component, by allowing a short-chain carboxylic acid salt to coexist in the presence of a chelate builder, free calcium ions are contained in 1 liter of the composition. Even if the amount is less than 0.1 mmol, the protease activity can be prevented from lowering and the protease activity can be stabilized for a long period of time.
