abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To prevent an organic phosphorus compound for imparting flame resistance to polyester from remaining in three reactions and reducing the polycondensation catalyst in the polycondensation process. [Structure] In a method for producing a flame-resistant polyester by reacting an unsaturated carboxylic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof with an organic phosphorus compound together with a raw material for forming a polyester, and producing a flame-resistant polyester, unreacted organic phosphorus compound is reduced. A method for producing a flame-resistant polyester, which comprises adding a zinc compound or a cobalt compound at the point of time. |
