(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Objective] To provide a dry analytical element for assaying lithium in serum, in which the problems of ions and interferents are solved. A multi-layer dry analytical element for quantitative assay of lithium, comprising a developing layer and a reagent layer, wherein sufficient buffer solution is present in the layer above said reagent layer to bring the pH to at least 9.
