(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Structure] A polymer film comprising a base layer of a polymer material and a coating layer 2 formed from a composition containing a layered mineral and a resin obtained from a crosslinking agent. The coating layer 2 comprises 10-90% of the layered mineral by weight of this layer and 10-90% of a resin obtained from a crosslinking agent. This covering layer 2 preferably additionally comprises a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl monomers. The polymer film has an oxygen barrier property and the layered mineral coating layer exhibits improved adhesion to the polymer substrate layer. This polymer film is particularly suitable for use as a packaging film. |
