titleOfInvention | Process for producing optically active α-arylalkanoic acid compound and its alkyl ester and novel microorganism |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] An optically active α-arylalkanoic acid compound is produced using a novel microorganism. [Structure] A strain having a disubstituted malonic acid represented by the following formula 1 [general formula (I)] as a substrate and belonging to the genus Alcaligenes and capable of assimilating phenylmalonic acid [eg, Alcaligenes bronchisepticus (alcaligenes) bronchise pticus) KU1201 (Ministry of Microbiology Research Institute No. 11670)] The following chemical formula 2 [general formula (II)] A process for producing an optically active α-arylalkanoic acid compound represented by: [Chemical 1] [Chemical 2] However, in the general formula (I) and the general formula (II), Ar Is an aromatic group which may have a substituent, and R is an alkyl group. [Effect] An optically active α-arylalkanoic acid compound can be produced under mild conditions. |
