Recombinant plasmid DNA, transformed microorganism and novel esterase |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide means for mass-producing esterase for asymmetric hydrolysis of racemic carboxylic acid ester of the general formula [1] efficiently by genetic engineering technique. [Structure] A DNA fragment encoding an esterase derived from Pseudomonas putida is ligated to a plasmid to construct a recombinant plasmid DNA. Further, a host microorganism is transformed with this recombinant plasmid to obtain a transformed microorganism. Furthermore, a novel esterase having excellent thermostability and pH stability is obtained. |
