(57) [Summary] [Purpose] The growth rate is fast and the growth rate is excellent by culturing and growing yeast cells in a medium that does not contain iron in advance and contains substantially no iron other than iron derived from the medium composition. A ferric iron-containing yeast is produced. [Structure] An edible yeast capable of accumulating divalent iron in a microbial cell is cultivated to obtain a microbial cell having a microbial cell concentration higher than a biological space, and the microbial cell is an organic compound that is a polymer substrate. And by dispersing in an aqueous solution containing a divalent water-soluble iron compound, divalent iron is stably accumulated in the cells to produce a divalent iron-containing yeast. |
