abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Objective] To provide a method in which the sampling frequency is increased and the number of shift register stages of the digital correlator is not required to be increased. [Configuration] Positive-phase and negative-phase sampling clock ICL LPF1 for K, QCLK, bar ICLK, bar QCLK 4, the PN code chip waveform of either the COS component or the SIN component from the LPF 15 is sampled and A / D converted by the steering gates 16 to 21 and the A / D converters 22 and 23. The A / D-converted value and the predetermined reference value are calculated by correlators 24 and 25, and the correlation output thereof is subtractor 26 and absolute value conversion circuit 2 When the comparator 28 determines that the difference between the correlation values of the positive-phase clock and the negative-phase clock does not reach the predetermined value, the control circuit 30 issues a command to the sampling clocks of the positive-phase and the negative-phase. On the other hand, the PN code chip waveform is sampled by switching to the sampling clocks of the positive phase and the negative phase having different phases.
