abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Objective] To provide a low toxicity camptothecin derivative having antitumor activity. [Structure] A novel fluoroethylcamptothecin derivative represented by the following general formula (I) and a salt thereof, a process for producing the fluoroethylphencapton derivative, and a novel intermediate used in this process. [In the formula, R 1 represents H, —CH 2 OH, —CHO, or the like; R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are H, —CH 2 OH and C, respectively. 1-6 alkyl group, C 1-6 alkoxy group, halogen atom, amino group, etc., and m and n each represent 0, 1 or 2, provided that m and n cannot be 0 at the same time.
