titleOfInvention | Method for melt spinning polyester |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a melt-spinning method for polyester, which enables undried polyester to be spun with good operability without deteriorating the physical properties of the obtained fiber. [Structure] When melt-spinning water-containing polyester, the squeezing mechanism provided downstream of the polymer supply zone in the cylinder melts and pressurizes the polymer to separate the water from the polymer, and the water is added to the polymer. A twin-screw extruder equipped with a mechanism for discharging out of the system through a slit provided in the cylinder on the upstream side of the pressure section is used. The degree of pressure reduction in the cylinder is reduced to 10 torr or less, and spinning is performed while discharging water. |
