titleOfInvention Method for inducing fat-producing callus
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] Oil and fat production characterized by culturing the periembryo part of the endosperm tissue of coconut obtained from fruits harvested 6 to 9 months after pollination in a medium containing a plant growth regulator Callus induction method. [Effects] According to the present invention, callus of coconut endosperm tissue having high oil-fat productivity can be induced at a high rate, and by using callus thus induced, oil containing a medium-chain fatty acid as a main component can be industrially produced. It can be manufactured stably.
