(57) [Summary] [Structure] A polishing treatment agent comprising a petroleum solvent, an emulsifier and water containing 5 to 40% by weight of abrasive particles harder than aluminum and having an average particle diameter of 0.3 to 5 μm. A surface coating method for aluminum or aluminum alloy in which the surface of aluminum alloy is polished, degreased, and then clear coating for aluminum is performed. [Effect] A clear coating film having excellent adhesion, water resistance and corrosion resistance can be easily formed on the surface of a large structure made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy material. |
