titleOfInvention Biodevice manufacturing method
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A quartz substrate is immersed in a bicarbonate buffer mixed with photoreactive biotin. This substrate is selectively irradiated with light through a photomask to form a biotin binding region 13 on the light-irradiated portion of the substrate 11. The substrate is dipped in a bicarbonate buffer containing avidin to bind biotin 13 with avidin 21. On the other hand, a suspension containing liposome 23 bound with biotin is prepared. Then, the above-mentioned avidin-bonded substrate is immersed in this suspension to immobilize the liposome 23 on the substrate 11. [Effect] The biotin pattern can be easily formed on the substrate by using a photomask. Since the biotin-avidin specific reaction is used, the liposomes can be fixed to the substrate more firmly than before.
